Podcast SummaryThe Partners Of Sound featuring DJ Apollo & Röcky Law bringing to you the best Trance and Progressive House from around the globe!!! About PartnersDJ APOLLO: I've always had a passion for music..Ever since I was eight years old, I became greatly interested in becoming involved with music; whether that was by playing a musical instrument or through vocalization. I sang in my grade school's chorale and played the trumpet. My musical interests, even to this day, vary; Beside Trance, I often find myself listening to classical, pop, jazz, operatic, and rap. It wasn't until my junior year in college that a friend of mine played a compilation of Trance and Progressive House he put together which ranged from artists including Tiesto, Andrea Britton, Super8 & Tab and Armin Van Buuren. From that moment on, I was hooked. The energetic force that Trance creates an insurmountable feeling that spans beyond contemporary American music. I've been very fortunate in meeting a wonderful DJ whose passion for Trance and most importantly, music, mirrors my own. I look forward to working with the DJ, presenting all with the most entertaining, uplifting and energetic Trance out there. RÖCKY LAW: Being raised in a home with a father who was a professional musician, couldn't help being exposed to music and the industry. From a very young age I played trumpet and trombone for church events. While playing in All-City Jazz Band I was able to study and learn the basics of jazz and swing. I high school I played with the blues and rock band. As a part-time job I was able to get work as a road manager for my father's band who had been around for over 40 years as a prominent profession jazz group. I must say I developed my taste for electronica music in 8th grade after listening to the various DJ's such as Paul Oakenfold, Paul Van Dyk and Chicago's Bad Boy Bill and DJ Markski. The wave of Euro and Hardhouse from Europe took Chicago by storm in the early 90's resonated in thousands of mix tapes by various local DJ's which I eagerly copied as many as I could. It wasn't later in college where I started spinning at my college radio station. As I have now paired with DJ Apollo as Partners Of Sound there will be a plethora of fresh new mixes and live performances in 2010. Fans of this Show
